Volunteers are the heart and soul of our Baby Basics program. Your help and support makes our program work!

 

Six Great Ways You Can Volunteer:
  • Help us move diapers from storage to our distribution sites.
  • Help us hand out diapers to our families when they come to pick them up.
  • Help us with one of our fundraising events. We need volunteers to help with sponsors, publicity, PR, and tasks such as setting up and cleaning up.
  • Host an information party for your neighbors and friends so we can tell about our program and the families we serve.
  • Connect us with your Church, service organization or club so we can tell about our program and the families we serve.
  • Join our Walking Challenge on January 26, 2013.
The Holocaust Museum of SWFL is featuring Baby Basics as their
charity of the month! 

 

All the admissions on May 11 and May 12 Mother’s Day will be donated to Baby Basics

As a Baby Basics volunteer, I feel that I play a small part in helping parents who are working hard to bring up happy, healthy babies. Not having to buy expensive diapers allows parents to provide food and other necessities to ensure happy, healthy families.  Meeting with these families and witnessing their gratitude is a special perk of being a volunteer.Selma Flieder, volunteer

Baby Basics is a very special nonprofit that provides diapers and caring for low income families. Diapers are a basic necessity and are very expensive. This organization relieves these families of some of their financial burdens. By volunteering, I have the opportunity to meet these families and their children, providing one-on-one contact and observing how appreciative they are.Sue Reynen, board member
